Primary Health Care ( PHC unit) to establish in the union level as our majority peoples live in the village. Each PHC to run a health center comprising of doctors, nurse and health visitors. All citizens must have access to primary health care. Free medications to be offered to poors.
Upazilla levels: Health Authority to establish. A modern hospital to be operated by the health authority. Referals will come from primary health care to meet complex health care needs. Doctors, nurses, mental health professionals, physio therapy and relevent health professionals to be appointed, training and equipments to be provided. Nutritionist to be appointed to address malnutration issues, Maternity unit to be established and run by Health Authority.
Providing eye tests and treatment dental check up and treatment also be provided by Health Authority.
Provision of Socia care to be introduced. Care of elderly, Child care, domiciliary care provisions responsibility taken.
Specialist health hospitals like, heart hospital, cancer hospital will treate targeted patiens by the specialists. All modern equipment like scannings facilities to be provided. Sufficient number of ICU beds to be available to deal with emergency situations.
Budget for research to be allocated and dedicated on reserach works.
Improve the quality of medical education including private medical colleges. A standard curriculum to be offered.
Private health care insurance for peoples who can afford to be considered but not to be substituted to health authority”s responsibilities.
Health and social care regulatory body to be established. Minimum standards of care and health care regulations to be determined. To enforce regulations in order to drive forward the quality of care.
